We’re proud to share that our Assistant Winemaker, Luca Messana, has been featured in Long Island Wine Press 2026, a recognition that highlights not only his journey, but the people behind every bottle we produce.
Luca’s path into winemaking began early, shaped by his family’s vineyard in Tuscany and later refined through harvests across Chile, Oregon, and Burgundy. Today, his work on Long Island reflects both that global experience and a deep respect for the region’s distinctive terroir.
When asked about the best part of his role, his answer captures the essence of what we do:
“I get to work with the seasons and make one of the three key elements needed at the dinner table: people, food and wine.”
It’s a perspective that reminds us that wine is never just a product, it’s part of a larger experience, rooted in time, place, and connection.
